From Bondi to Cottesloe, Gold Coast to Sunshine Coast, it’s no secret that Australia is famous around the globe for its stunning beaches.
But the “land down under” also has a bit of a reputation for having some of the best spots for swimming sans swimsuits.
That’s right, Australia is a top destination for those keen on ditching their bikinis and boardshorts (or Budgie Smugglers, no judgment here) for a cheeky skinny dipping session.
One beach, in particular, has been named in a new list of the top five skinny dipping locations across the globe.
The ranking, completed by dating reviews website MyDatingAdviser.com, named Maslin Beach near Adelaide in third place, behind top spot Lokrum Island, Croatia, and runner-up Spiaggia della Lecciona in Italy.

Maslin Beach is located 40 minutes south of Adelaide CBD and holds the honor of being declared the country’s first official nude beach in 1975. The southern half of the 3km long stretch of sand is also home to the annual Nude Olympics, complete with a ‘Best Bum’ competition.
