On this trip, we got to see a Duck-Billed Platypus swimming in front of us at Lone Pine Brisbane. It was a hot day so it was a relief to find some shade, relax and watch the Platypus doing their thing. The platypus is a strange mix of different traits, including a venomous spur used in male to male combat.
